You (our Guest) agree that by making a reservation with us (the Operator), you have agreed to the terms and conditions set out below. All bookings made via participating websites or with the Operator directly are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the property.



You agree to pay us the room rate for each night of your reservation, including any additional charges up until the scheduled day of departure and you have returned the key.

You agree that you are and remain, personally liable to pay the total amount stated in the reservation confirmation unless prior settlement arrangements have been accepted by us.

You agree to provide valid credit card details with your booking with enough funds available to cover the cost of the reservation including any deposits or pre-authorisations required. If the card is declined and no guarantee is given, Management has the right to cancel the booking.

Most major credit cards are accepted and typically incur a credit card transaction fee.

You agree that payment for the first night’s accommodation (including credit card transaction fees) may be charged at any time between the time of booking and the day of arrival. The balance of the account is due on the day of arrival. Please note: This excludes advance purchase bookings which are non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-amendable.

You agree that any charge for services to you, not billed at the time of departure, may be added to your account and charged to the same credit card used to pay the account or may be taken from any deposit or pre-authorisation on any card provided.

Twin beds, rollaway bed, sofa bed, cot, high chair and baby bath are subject to availability. Notice must be provided at least 24 hours before arrival. Charges apply.


Check-In and Checkout:

Check-in is deemed to have occurred once the key has been received by the Guest either in person or by using the self-check-in. Additional fees may apply if your requested check-in time is before 2:00pm and requires us to keep the room empty on the previous day.

You agree that checkout time is 10:00am on the date shown for your departure unless we agree to another time. You agree that departure after 10:00am may incur additional charges but they will be conveyed to you at the time.

You agree to return any key or keys provided for the room at the time of your departure and agree to pay a replacement key fee of $25 for any keys not returned and/or a replacement lock fee of $250 if required.



You agree that any changes to the details of your booking must be conveyed to Botanic Apartments directly. Whilst we will endeavour to assist you, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Please note that changes to date or room type may incur an additional cost.

You agree to provide up to date contact details at the time of reservation and to update these details should they change between the time you make the reservation and your checkout. Details should include your legal name and address, mobile phone number and email address.

You agree to advise us of any change in the number of persons using the room and agree to pay any additional charges for additional persons not included in the number stated at the time of reservation. Undeclared additional guests will be charged twice the published rate. Penalties apply if guests have provided misleading information.

You agree to pay for any loss or damage to the room or equipment in the room or on the grounds or carpark during your stay. A $200 penalty applies in addition to the cost of repair or replacement if the damage is not declared immediately by the guest at the time that damage occurs.

You agree that you will not enter into any unlawful activities whilst staying as a guest.

You agree that your behaviour towards staff and other guests will be polite and courteous.

You agree that you will respect the needs of other guests for privacy and peace and quiet; in particular between the hours of 10pm and 7am.

You agree to abide by the non-smoking policy – in the event of any physical evidence or residual odour which indicates that smoking of any form has taken place inside a guest room, a charge of $250 will be made against the credit card provided at the time of booking/check-in to cover the cost of steam cleaning the carpet and soft furnishings and laundering of linen.

You agree that any monies or other valuables, goods or vehicles that belong to you, brought in or on to the rooms, grounds or carpark remain your responsibility and the Operator is not responsible for their safekeeping.

You agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damage or loss to your goods or valuables regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord or Tenant laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay. We grant you a licence to stay in our rooms and you agree that we may terminate the license at any time without giving you a reason. If this occurs, you will be required to immediately vacate the property upon termination and will not be entitled to a refund.

You agree to receive commercial electronic messages from us unless you advise us otherwise in writing.

*We adhere to the National Privacy Principles relating to the collection of personal information. Information collected from you on registration is required either to meet the requirements of State legislation regarding the maintenance of a guest register, for fire safety reasons, for billing purposes and/or to market our services to you. If you do not provide us with this information, we may be unable to provide you with accommodation. We will make this information available to third parties who assist us to provide services to you, where required by law or to enforce our collection of amounts owing by you. You must advise us if any details provided when registering, either in person or online via a 3rd party booking site or our website, are incorrect. Personal information collected during your stay will be retained for the length of time necessary to comply with taxation and accounting requirements (usually 7 years). You may request access to personal information we hold about you. We may recover our costs of providing this access to you. A charge will be levied if a copy of this paper registration card is required after six months of your departure. Copies (other than electronic data) are generally not available after two years. We will not knowingly permit any misuse of this data. We will adhere to our Industry Association standards for use of any personal information.
